At number 15 of Plaza Ponce de León, next to the Church of Santa Catalina, our Restaurant La Chumbera opens its doors, located in a Regionalist building of artistic interest.

We cook products over the oak fire so you can taste unmistakable dishes.

We are not a Picasso, but our meats, fish, grilled vegetables and our desserts are works of art... (so they tell us)

We are called La Chumbera after the painting by the famous painter from Malaga. Do you know which one? Pablo Picasso.

The one in which a woman carries two huge cod leaves in each hand. We saw her and… we fell at her feet!

Cod is our star product, our spoiled child. We make it with the same strength and passion that the painting transmits.

This is only part of our story. Our purpose is to take care of you. Therefore, we aim to ensure that in every bite you put in your mouth you perceive unmatched quality and flavor while you are nourished.

I visited the restaurant yesterday for the first time, and I was looking forward to it. They gave us a starter salad that was delicious, and as main courses, an entrecôte made with oak embers and some cocochas that were exquisite. The desserts were another delicatessen, torrija and cheesecake. The restaurant is beautiful, tastefully decorated. A good wine list. And a service of 10. Looking forward to returning.

The cod croquettes were spectacular, and the Argentinean steer was on point, we will definitely repeat. Good treatment on the part of the service and also the food came very quickly

The truth is that we were very pleasantly surprised, very elaborate dishes, with a texture and flavor that breaks the sense, at a very appropriate price. We have been traveling in Seville and all the restaurants are full with less quality, it is a shame that this one, with the quality it offers, does not get what it deserves. I hope this review serves to recognize the good service of the waitress and her kitchen.

Very cozy and cared for place in every way. Very professional and attentive staff. Very good food, both in flavors and in the product. We tried medium dishes recommended by the waiters and it was a success, their grilled cod neck and their lamb tacos in their incredible juice. It was a great success and they recommended it to us. Very good price quality and 100% recommended.

Nice restaurant located in the center of Seville with very polite and pleasant staff, they advised us very well at all times. Regarding the food, I would say that everything was 10, the avocado with cod and its creamy croquettes, uffff, is something spectacular, the grilled mushrooms with a very beautiful presentation and the cod, which is the restaurant's specialty, 10.
